1st. Black Panthers – Thonon-les-Bains
This team continues to impress with another dominant performance, picking up right where they left off last week. Offensively, they are nearly unstoppable — marching down the field with confidence and precision. Every drive seemed to showcase their versatility. Whether through the air or on the ground, they found ways to break through the Northern Division defenses. On the other side of the ball, the defense set the tone and never let up. They smothered all offenses, holding them to a mere handful of yards and refusing to give up any real momentum. The defensive line consistently broke through to apply pressure, the linebackers read plays with sharp instincts, and the secondary locked down passing options. All in all, those were statement wins that confirm this squad isn’t just on a hot streak — they’ve set a standard this season.
2nd. Molosses – Asnières-sur-Seine
Another week, another win. With these latest victories, the team improved to an impressive 7–2 record — and they did it in style. Once again, both sides of the ball came to play, showing why they’re becoming one of the most feared squads in the league. At the heart of the offensive explosion was none other than Brody Hahn, who was simply on fire. Whether threading needles through tight coverage or making plays with his legs, Hahn looks unstoppable. He has 22 TDs and only 2 interceptions — what a classy record. Every time an offensive squad tried to spark some momentum, the whole defense was right there to snuff it out. With the Black Panthers on the schedule next week, it might be a well-earned occasion to prove they are truly the best right now. Given the momentum and dominance they've shown lately, this matchup is THE game of the next week.
3rd. Flash – La Courneuve
La Courneuve are coming back at a strong pace — and they made it count against the Léopards and the Diables Rouges. Coming off a tough loss to the Molosses two weeks ago, the Flash clearly had something to prove. And what a way to do it — three rushing touchdowns and multiple TDs in a small 15-minute gap (against the Diables Rouges). They came out strong and never let up, securing a dominant win over their rival. It was the kind of performance that sends a message: they're not dwelling on the past — they’re already locked in on what’s next. Speaking of which, their upcoming challenge? The Cougars.
4th. Iron Mask – Cannes
It was a very busy stretch for the Cannes squad, who had to play three games due to the rescheduled Week 2 matchup. Offensively, they looked sharp — scoring plenty of points and showing good rhythm throughout all three games. However, the results didn’t fully reflect their effort: one loss (against Perpignan), one draw (Toulouse), and only one win against the Argonautes (Aix-en-Provence). Still, it’s nothing too worrying. Even the best teams hit a rough patch, and this feels more like a bump in the road than a red flag. On to the next -> Blue Stars.
5th. Blue Stars – Marseille
They took down a direct rival in the standings (Ours) last week — and that alone is enough to justify their current ranking. It was a hard-fought battle, decided by a single converted touchdown, but they held their ground when it mattered most. What’s most impressive about this team isn’t just their recent wins — it’s their consistent ability to climb the standings week after week, all while raising their level of play. They’re not just holding their position; they’re actively improving, adapting, and finding new ways to outplay opponents. Whether it’s sharper execution, better chemistry, or sheer determination, they’ve shown they’re a team on the rise — and they’re not slowing down anytime soon, having just beaten the Dauphins from Nice. Next up? A new fight against Iron Mask — a true challenge that could rebrand their whole season.
6th. Grizzlys – Perpignan
What a thrilling win! They took down the best team in the South — and did it with style. It was a statement victory, one that proves they belong among the greats. Offensively, all eyes were on Aymeric Guillemaud, who delivered an outstanding performance: 5 receptions, 94 yards, and 3 touchdowns. A true game-changer. On the defensive side, the masterpiece came from Yves Koko, who anchored the unit with intensity and made big plays at crucial moments. A game to remember — and one that might just shift the balance in the South. Next week against Toulouse, they had one goal in mind: proving just how powerful they really are. With momentum on their side and confidence building, they defeated a direct opponent in the rankings. Always a cool thing to do.
7th. Ours – Toulouse
Not a bad run at all. Sure, they fell short against the Blue Stars — but they bounced back in style, holding Cannes to a thrilling 35–35 draw in one of the most entertaining games of the previous week. Unfortunately, they lost the “Bears-matchup” against the Grizzlys. This team brings energy, unpredictability, and a real sense of fight every time they hit the field. They’re a joy to watch. We believe they can still punch their ticket to the playoffs — but they HAVE to win and hope for a Perpignan loss. Fingers crossed! It promises to be a physical matchup, and a perfect chance to see if they can keep the momentum going.
8th. Diables Rouges – Villepinte
A draw against the Cougars isn’t exactly something to celebrate. It was the kind of game where there was plenty of offensive movement, but no real solutions. A frustrating result, to say the least. Then, the following week, things got even tougher as they conceded a heavy score against the division leader. It’s a rough stretch, and right now, it’s hard to predict how the next games will unfold. They didn’t prove us wrong against the Molosses — but hey, maybe this is where the Diables Rouges flip the script. We’ve seen crazier turnarounds before, so who knows? They definitely have something to prove next week against the Léopards.
9th. Argonautes – Aix-en-Provence
Last week, we said they were still locked in — and they proved us right, edging out the Dauphins in a hard-fought win with just a 3-point lead. But the following week brought a setback: a loss to Iron Mask. No shame there, considering Iron Mask are dominating the South Division. Now, the verdict is clear: their season is officially over. All eyes turn to their final matchup against the Grizzlys. While they won't be heading to the playoffs, they still have a pivotal role to play — they could crush the Grizzlys’ hopes. One thing’s for sure: when that game kicks off, the whole of Toulouse will know exactly who they’re cheering for.
10th. Léopards – Rouen
It’s official — they’ll remain in the First Division next season. But what a grueling campaign it’s been for the entire staff. A heavy defeat against the Flash, followed by an even more punishing loss to the Black Panthers, marked some of the toughest moments of their year. Now, there’s just one game left in the regular season: a clash with the Diables Rouges. It may not change the standings, but it could offer something just as valuable — a glimpse of what’s to come. A spark, a statement, maybe even a sign of hope for a brighter season ahead.
11th. Dauphins – Nice
Yes, they’ve managed to concede fewer points than at the start of the season — a sign of growth and fight. But in the end, it wasn’t enough. Two more losses, and the curtain falls: they’re heading down to the Second Division. It’s a tough pill to swallow for a team that never stopped trying. And as if the story needed one more twist, their final game will be against the Ours — a team desperate to clinch a playoff spot. No mercy, no comfort. Just one last battle, and a long offseason to regroup.
12th. Cougars – Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône
They’re starting to give off serious 2017 Browns vibes — and that’s far from reassuring.
With the level of competition in Division 2, things won’t get any easier from here.
Everyone’s hungry. Everyone’s gunning for a shot at the top.
And the truth is: they won’t be striking fear into many opponents next season.
Unless something changes — fast — the climb back to D1 could be longer and harder than they ever imagined.
