#2 Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns

The Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns enjoyed a bye week but faced a different kind of challenge as they worked to keep their home stadium, Optima Sportpark, dry from the Kocher flooding. Similar to other teams in southern Germany, Schwäbisch Hall has been affected by the flooding.

What this means for their upcoming matchup against the Saarland Hurricanes remains to be seen. However, the team, led by quarterback Conor Miller, running back Mike Gentili, superstar receiver Jason Sharsh, and cornerback Monteze Latimore, remains undeterred. Additionally, linebacker Sam Viera is looking forward to playing against his former team.

Despite the flooding, the Unicorns are focused and ready to put in a strong performance this week.

Now, the Invaders can enjoy a well-deserved bye week before they host the Ravensburg Razorbacks, aiming to send them home with a defeat.

#5 Allgäu Comets

The Allgäu Comets' away game against the Munich Cowboys was literally washed out. Due to heavy rainfall and the resulting unplayable conditions of the Munich field, the game has been postponed. The Comets now face an extended break before resuming their season in Week 7 with an away game against the ifm Ravensburg Razorbacks.

#6 Munich Cowboys

The Munich Cowboys' home game against the Allgäu Comets has been postponed due to heavy rainfall and the resulting unplayable field conditions. #7 Saarland Hurricanes

The Saarland Hurricanes secured a 44-32 victory against the IFM Razorbacks Ravensburg. Quarterback Andrew Brito had an impressive performance, throwing for 314 yards and five touchdowns while also rushing for 62 yards. Despite this success, the Hurricanes need to improve their rushing game, as their running backs combined for only 52 rushing yards this week. Wide receiver Marvin Fuchs emerged as the top target, catching passes for 137 yards. Next week, the Hurricanes are set to face the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns, provided the stadium recovers from recent flooding. If not, the game might be relocated or postponed.

#8 Berlin Rebels

The Berlin Rebels triumphed 33-17 over the Kirchdorf Wildcats after a long away trip. This victory sets them up for the highly anticipated Berlin derby against the Adler next week. In this matchup, anything is possible. A win would help the Rebels extend their lead and push their city rivals further down the standings. The Rebels are looking to build on this momentum and solidify their position.

#9 Paderborn Dolphins

The Paderborn Dolphins faced their second defeat of the season this weekend. With a bye week ahead, the team has a perfect opportunity to regroup and prepare for their Week 6 matchup against the Berlin Adler. This upcoming game is crucial for the Dolphins, providing a chance to turn their season around and improve their record. The team is focused on making the most of this break to come back stronger.

#10 Kiel Baltic Hurricanes

Next week, the Hurricanes face another tough away game against the Dresden Monarchs, hoping to leverage their key players' performances to turn things around.

#11 New Yorker Lions Braunschweig

The New Yorker Lions have faced a challenging streak, losing three consecutive games. This weekend, they are up against the Kirchdorf Wildcats, the newly promoted team. It's a crucial match for the Lions as they seek their first win of the season. A victory is essential if they don't want to consider this season a write-off already.

#12 Berlin Adler

The Berlin Adler staged a remarkable comeback against the Straubing Spiders, securing a thrilling victory. Next weekend, they are set to face the Berlin Rebels in a highly anticipated derby.
