#8 Kiel Baltic Hurricanes

The Kiel Baltic Hurricanes faced a tough matchup against the Paderborn Dolphins, ultimately falling short in a 21-19 thriller. The Dolphins started strong with an early touchdown drive and an interception that set up another score, putting the Hurricanes in an early hole. CJ Davis sparked life into the Hurricanes with a 65-yard interception return for a touchdown, bringing the score to 7-14 at halftime. Michel Peschel caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Nate Hayden in the third quarter, but a missed extra point left Kiel trailing 14-13. With less than a minute left, Isaiah Harris caught a touchdown pass from Hayden, narrowing the gap to 21-19. However, the crucial two-point conversion attempt failed, and the Dolphins managed to run out the clock to secure the victory.

#9 Berlin Rebels

The Berlin Rebels struggled in their 36-19 loss to the Hildesheim Invaders. The team never found their rhythm and even changed quarterbacks in the fourth quarter. Receiver Luc Meacham gave the Lions an early 7-0 lead, but it was not enough to secure a victory. In the fourth quarter, rising star David Shafir made his GFL debut. The 19-year-old talent joined the Lions from the Düsseldorf Panthers of the GFL Juniors earlier this season. Next week, the Lions have a bye week, giving them time to recover and regroup.
